Ever since I came up with the Alchemist's Bandolier, I wanted to make a whole set of armor for an alchemist costume.
I've been procrastinating that project for far too long, so here finally is the second part of the set, the Alchemist's Bracer.
Like I usually do it with costume items, this is a prototype. I am already really satisfied with how it turned out, but I am not sure I will keep the design exactly like this in the future. Maybe I will change it, maybe I will not. In any case, this bracer is available for sale here: [link]
The description from the Etsy listing: "Another indispensable item for the traveling potion brewer. Four easily accessible vials hold your potions (or liquors, for the mellow brewers) and the sturdy bracer itself protects your arms from monsters and exploding stills alike. The lacing on it's underside makes sure it fits even when wearing heavy, insulated gloves underneath.
Every alchemist worth their name owns a bracer, or two of this kind.
Roleplaying aside: This bracer is made from artificial leather. All the metal parts are stainless steel and a thick fleece padding makes it really comfortable to wear. From end to end it is roughly 25cm (10 inches) long (20cm/8inches without the fins). It can be worn on either arm and the lacing makes sure it fits any size. The vials are made from resistant polypropylene and thus completely shatter proof."
I like it !
